Luc Nagles serves as the driving force behind the Bonsai Association Belgium and the Trophy, akin to an engine powering its success.
Luc has been integral to the Bonsai Association Belgium since its inception, being one of its founders and serving as the secretary, although his contributions extend far beyond that title. Describing him as a good fellow seems inadequate; he embodies qualities of modesty, open-mindedness, principled stand, diplomacy, and more. Working with him is genuinely enjoyable.
Furthermore, his linguistic abilities are commendable; he is fluent in English, German, proficient in French, and, naturally, Dutch. He dedicates considerable time to organising the Trophy, overseeing logistics and liaising with traders.
Despite his demanding role as a veterinarian managing an animal clinic, which consumes much of his time, His passion for bonsai is evident through his impressive collection.
